10th Annual Charlotte County Blooms Seminar

Des is an award winning writer, gardener and activist. The hand-hewn home and garden he and his partner Sandy created on their island acreage have been featured in numerous TV programs, books, magazines and calendars. Over the years he has contributed countless articles on environmental issues, gardening and rural living to a wide variety of publications in Canada and the USA, including seven years as gardening columnist for The Globe and Mail. He has been listed as one of the most .........Influential personalities in Canadian gardening.
Program
9am to 10 am Coffee hour, meet and great
10 am to 12N Welcome by Joan Williams ,president of The Charlotte Gardeners
Des to delight us with his satire on Garden Clubbing followed with slide show Garden Artistry.
12N to 1pm Lunch, caterer, Members of the "Outreach Committee " ,,,, " Anglican Parish of St. Stephen",
Vendors, silent auction, book signing and sales by Des, demonstrations
1pm to 2;30pm Door prizes and ticket draws
Des will do afternoon session also, starting with "The Ten Commandments of Gardening"
Following with slides of his own home on the island.
